Welcoming the Year of Snake 喜迎蛇年
2024年即將過去，藝潮畫廊即將推出一系列慶祝新年、充滿喜樂氣氛的作品，和大家一起迎接2025年蛇年的來臨，敬請期待。
與過去幾年一樣，2025新年畫展再次邀請了香港年輕版畫家林敬庭參加。林敬庭生於香港，畢業後成為全職版畫家，對於那些具獨特日照的地方，他深感著迷。因此，他常常以能雕刻出細緻畫面的木口木刻來描繪光線，並營造出具詩意的氛圍。他的作品屢獲殊榮，今年獲選參加英國WCPF24 當代版畫藝術博覽會及第五屆國際木版畫研討會(International Mokuhanga Conference)。
林敬庭今年年畫外形為一顆閃耀的金石，其中湖畔生長著白花蛇舌草、百合花、蛇瓜 和蛇根草等植物，象徵著穩定和繁榮。 金湖裡蕩起的水波隱約倒影出蛇的形象，仔細一瞧，原來蜿蜒的金蛇纏繞於樹上，傳遞著智慧和幸運。燕子雙飛穿越天空，為畫面增添了春天 的生機與希望，願新的一年豐饒與美好。

HK-born print artist Lam King Ting is no stranger to art lovers. After graduation, Lam has become a full time print artist whose works have received many honours and awards. He was recently invited to participate in the Woolwich Contemporary Print Fair in the UK, and the 5th International Mokuhanga Conference.
His latest work takes the shape of a gleaming golden stone, with white-flowered Houttuynia, lilies, snake gourds, and snake-root plants growing along the lakeshore, symbolizing stability and prosperity. The ripples in the golden lake subtly reflect the image of a snake. Upon closer inspection, one can see a winding golden snake coiled around a tree, embodying wisdom and good fortune. Swallows soar through the sky in pairs, adding vitality and hope to the scene, wishing for a year of abundance and beauty.
