The Society of Mineral Pigment Art in Hong Kong 香港岩彩藝術學會

Art Next is pleased to be a supporting organisation for The Society of Mineral Pigment Art in Hong Kong, a non profit group with a mission to promote this millenial old art form of China.

Established in late 2021, the Society is led by renowned mineral pigment artist Dave Chung Tai-Fu, who acts as the chairman. Other founding members include painter and art collector Cecilia Chu, Art Next’s Mianco Wong and Judy Inn, Anita Leung, and students of Chinese University of Hong Kong who are keenly interested in exploring mineral pigment as their creative medium.

The Society aims to introduce to all art loving public, especially youngsters and students, the history and unique qualities of mineral pigment art, which has received increasing recognition by the international academic and art collecting communities, particularly in the mainland and Japan. 新藝潮很高興成為香港岩彩藝術學會的支持機構。香港岩彩藝術學會在2021年底成立的非牟利機構。岩彩藝術在中國已有千年歷史,近年受到各地學術及收藏群體關注,特別是內地及日本。學會希望通過一系列學術及交流活動向所有藝術愛好者介紹這種藝術的歷史和獨特之處,特別是年輕藝術家和學生。

香港岩彩藝術學會由著名岩彩藝術家鍾大富老師牽頭,並出任會長。其他創會成員包括著名收藏家/畫家朱秋慧、新藝潮負責人黃白露及邢珠迪、梁桃芳,以及幾位對岩彩創作充滿熱誠的中文大學美術系學生。有關學會的活動詳情,可訪問學會的網站
